Facebook Put Me In Jail...

As I was trying to respond to a plethora of comments, I was blocked.

A pop-up window said something about being temporarily blocked and a possible misuse of Facebook.

After the initial panic subsided, I did a little research. It seems that if you respond to too many comments at one time, Facebook interprets that as spam.

Okay. Message received. Don't grow too fast. Don't be too much.

It got me thinking.

Now, I totally get that Facebook is a major platform and they have to have their rules and they have to enforce them across the board. I respect that and I accept it.

So, my point is not about Facebook itself.

How many times in life have you plodding along in your own lane, doing your own work in the world and someone misinterprets your intentions?

You're not doing things the way they are used to, or anticipated, and so you're automatically suspect.

And they're loud and clear about their misgivings?

And then you start to doubt yourself. "Wait a minute, was I doing something wrong?"

No, love, you weren't.

It's a common scenario, isn't it?

Well, this is what I'm going to do:

I may modify my light a little bit to make Facebook happy, but I'll damned if I'm going to dim it.

I've got work to do in this world and I've got people who count on me to hear them.

I'll never stop living my life on my own terms. I don't know any other way.

I hope you're with me.

Sending you all so much love. ❤️ Alissa
